Established in 1987, The Service Companies (FSS/SSC/JRS) is an international provider of back of house outsourced hospitality services. Our services include Housekeeping, Public Area Cleaning, Overnight Deep Kitchen Cleaning, Stewarding and Exterior High Rise Window and Chandelier cleaning.
All of our customers are nationally established well known hotels, casinos, vacation ownership resorts and malls. Due to our rapid growth and expansion we are seeking high quality individuals for the position of:
Responsible for the recruitment, retention, hiring, on-boarding and retention of several hundred hourly hospitality employees per year.
Essential Job Functions:
Actively Recruits hourly employees using a variety of traditional and non-traditional recruiting methods.
Independently Interviews and selects employees based on hiring criteria. UsesTaleo, Hire Right and Paychex to process new hires. Sends employees for drug testing.
Conducts the company new hire orientation and safety training for new employees.
Key interface between property supervisors and managers and corporate headquarters in Miami, Florida for human resource, payroll and safety issues.
Responsible for conducting Employee Satisfaction Survey, explaining the results to managers and coordinates the follow-up action planning process.
Is known as a role model in the company and a “customer service superstar”.
Inputs and/or audits daily hours reports and ensures for accuracy.
Makes recommendations on terminations and promotions.
Assists in employee relations issues and is proactive in maintaining the culture.
Smiles and is friendly when interacting with co-workers, guests and property employees.
Adheres to all company and regulatory policies. Reports any wrongdoing to corporate headquarters in Miami, Florida.
Is open to coaching and feedback from manager. Makes improvement.
College degree and/or one year experience in human resources preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must meet company and clients appearance standards.
Ability to perform all duties as required with or without an accommodation.
Ability to motivate and respect hourly employees.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to work long hours.
Advanced Knowledge of e-mail, MS-Word, Excel.
Ability to coordinate staffing on weekends and holidays for call-offs.
